Chrysalis

A VIM – very important man – in my life can not speak, write, read or move. He is weary of being the bundle he has always feared to become. Even in this state, he keeps pushing my buttons…or is it me who reacts, even now, when the claims are actually on mute ?

A VIP – very important project – is stuck in my head. A novella, that oscillates between ending with a happy one, an abrupt and open one or a rather dissatisfying but feasible one. My characters have taken over and I no longer wish to boss them around.

Autumnal impulses, ranging from being grumpy to being hungry to being tired, are altering the ego. I withdraw between the whithering leaves, looking forward to the dazzling butterfly, soon to erupt from clogged up confusion…..

No butterflies hatching in November ?

Do I care ?!

My heart goes out to you my friend. Your VIM pulls and pushes you and probably ties you up in knots. I’m surprised how much I still miss my Dad, after 5 years, and I know hat these relationships touch the deepest parts of our own psyches.

    Dear Eva

the chrysalis must hatch. While you have no control over your VIM you can control your VIP, otherwise known as your WIP – which stands for Work In Progress.

Hola! I surfed to this site while I was searching for some wellness related terms in Bing earlier today. Stuck around a bit to check things out and read some of your posts… good stuff. I’ll be sure to come back down the road some time and get caught up. Go Brazil!! World Cup 2010!
